We tend to throw out the pennies and the change and the things at seem minimal.
We look down on so many areas that are less than what we see as Good or best because of what we have been taught and see our way. But the small things seem to be some of the things that count the most. Feel the most. There is so much that is going on and that can happen that is amazing. But every bit counts, it counts on a pay check if i gave you 95% Where is the other you'd ask, My response you have what you have that should be great, or things like that. The little bits count we just don't want them to be counted against us or so it seems. We are lost in a place of our importance we believe we are more important than what we should receive or who we are dealing with. What we deserve and how we deserve it. What hurts us and what we believe we are owed over what we give. We think of our selves more highly than what we should. How we should, God has this plan for us how we are called to give and do and be but society has said the opposite and we have become like that. But let's look at this differently. If, if we take the most insignificant thing and put it in a different place we see it different. We, wait with anticipation for that little thing, the little thing now becomes the big things because it bates our idea and selfish intention. Let me explain. The ball bounces on the floor with each kiss of the floor the anticipation grows from the crowd, The clock almost seems like it is in slow motion and everyones heart becomes a rhythm of anticipation on if this was going to be the moment. As parker Dribbles up the floor, intensity rises, screams echo through the air like arrows shot from a army toward the opposing side. With each tick of the clock, each drop of sweat the players move like a ballet or a choreographed show. Knowing the out come comes down to seconds. Comes down to the hero's or the losers hands who has the ball. It is amazing that both advances are in the same moment. Hero, Loser. Both are remembered. As each team protects each moment the clock speeds up, the option fro panic is there but it is relentlessly held back by the damn of composure. 10, the audience cries as though they needed to help understand how important this moment is. 9, a surge of energy rips through the players on each side in the struggle to succeed in the struggle to win this moment and sign History for ever. 8, 7, 6, the air is filed with fear and excitement, the mom ducks as though someone is throwing something at her and whispers under her breath "Oh I can't watch" as she peers through her fingers. 5, the ball advancing down the court increasingly seems louder and stronger. 4, Every one waiting to see what happens in the next 3 seconds. Tension is there aligned with control but he seems caught and alone. DO i pass do I shoot, can i make it, do I go, do I wait, what do i do projects through the players mind! 2, fakes left pulls up to shoot. The ball flows from his fingers like water from a tap focused on one place to go as it rides on the air pulled by a string... 1... The ball finds its way to the basketball hoop touches the front of the rim and projects it self up and to the back of the rim several times. As it seems times i standing still with a 1 point lead the ball trickles into the net. The Buzzer screams like a fog horn through the mist that clears the way for a safe return... the crowd exhales a sigh of excitement and the moment of excitement fills the air with the heart break of defeat for the other team. Who had just gave it all and lost. the score, 101 to 102. The part about that is this. Is before the 102, 50 plus shots had been made all night long! had they made the last shot before all the anticipation, and that came with it would hav e not been there. But the 2 points counted in such an amazing way because of where it was placed. You are that for someone. Your time, your money your effort you. If he would have given up because of adversity of the other team defending and pushing back they would have never won, if he would have said they are not letting me through they would have never won. The WHOLE TIME there were defenders and obstacles but the goal was to win, the goal was to press through. The 2 points where not worth more than the others but every little bit counts. The young man who scored them only scored 2 points that game. He could have pouted and been angry he didn't have more points and on the stat sheet it will never say he won the game just 2 points. Others had 20, 30, 15 etc. But, Every little bit counts what will you be for someone? What will you do for it? it is not about what you give but that you give. What will you give today now that you know you have the ball in the game and the Lord has given you to help the team win? You are not insignificant Your just waiting to be used like David for a significant time and moment to give your piece, your 5%. So step out, Be what you are called to. Abide in the calling you were once called in. Stop comparing your moments to your recognition and give when you are called upon. Imagine that young man having an attitude about being in the game so late and not getting enough time etc... God is ready for you to say "When you're ready I'll give my bit. God knows where and when to add the ingredient of you to the mix. Be ready to give your bit! Remember 99 pennies don't make a dollar.... that next single 1 dose every bit counts. You matter 1 Corinthians 12:14 ESV For the body does not consist of one member but of many.

Looking at a space shuttle is amazing it is powerful and goes to heights many will never. It is created differently and focused on going beyond. It was not created for this atmosphere. Everything about it is for self containment in a new atmosphere. But in that understanding much like us. Not everything, that is launching with it or you is to be with you forever. The Rockets shed things that are with them in the beginning that are there just to take them to the next level so they can orbit.
Like the fuel canisters, If you take the fuel with you will explode, be to heavy etc. There are many things in life like that. Some things are not always suppose to be with you all the way, some things are there to go all the way. But if you keep the ones that are to be let go it will Kill you. and if lose the ones that are suppose to stay you will also die. There is a point of release that is needed to let go and get to the next level in your life. In God that will change everything. You are in the T minus stage the count down or you are just taking off, or you are ready to go to the next atmosphere in His presence, realize it is not a bad thing or a terrible moment in who you are to let things, people or ideas go, It is necessary. Ecclesiastes talk about a season for everything, Proverbs about pruning and in order to Grow there is a pruning that needs to take place> a season and a time for everything. A coming and a going. Release what needs to be and soar to see forward what God Has placed in you for a new atmosphere. #2 The crew of that shuttle is also important, who flies it, who goes up with you, who can handle the G forces, special training and development is needed for that. Landing Reading the instruments so many needs and so much demand. That trip is a place none, like everything but much different. No one has ever done before going into new territory. It is not a simulator. It is not a training ground. But that crew is built or trained to go to that atmosphere, tested and proved at a certain level. That is a team called to go to that atmosphere and released. It’s not everyone that goes with you there, there are still many helping you from the ground, experiencing great things and impact and a part and all are equally needed . But, the placement of where you are and who you are with is specific to where you are going. The place you are going will need you to shed somethings, and be part of the right crew to navigate and have the best mindset to get there! Judges 7 is about Gideon and his army. He had to select what was needed for the battle God had Him to go in. Leaders do the same it will change everything! OK for take off... John 15:2 "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. |
